I believe the problems the original poster, "Redirect Left", had, were caused by a GPUGrid's inability to properly start tasks after a power interruption.

I believe that other problems that are unrelated to a power interruption, should probably be in their own thread, maybe.

If I read the first post then I do not read anything about a power interruption.

You'll have to read more than the first post, I'm afraid.

You are right Jacob, my bad.

Temperature of the room and temperature of the GPU(s)?

There are problems:
1. all sites react and refresh very slow
2. uploading is extremely slow and stalled, have to do it manually
3. not getting new work
4. message is logfile that project servers may be down, but that seems not the case
15) Message boards : Graphics cards (GPUs) : Does GPUGrid take advantage of Quadro GPUs? (Message 41009)
Posted 3284 days ago by TJ
The quadro's have special drivers that can do very neat things. They are used for medical imaging like all types of body scanners.
They are also very good with autocad in combination with a powerful PC.

For as far my experience goes they do not outperform in BOINC projects, as these prgrams are not working on the high graphics capabilities but for "simple" calculations. I have some very expensive quadro's, bought second hands in an used PC from a body scanner.
I used them with some project but newer consumer GPU's did WU's faster.
Now they are to old for almost all project, so I have taken them out of the PC and are now museum parts.

So bottom line not better, and even slow when to old. Oh and they like energy.

Could be several issues. Can be the driver (I never use the latest driver), can be the WU. I see it are SDOER's where you have the problems. So perhaps that WU and your specific set-up don't play nice together. Or it could be another program on the back that causes this after running good for a long time. I had that once and it took months before I found that out. PCAngel was causing me the blue screens as soon BOINC started running.

You can try to take one card out and let it run with only one card. Let a WU finish. Then test the other card.
If it are SDOER's, wait to get another WU and see what happens.
Does it run fine with one card put the second one back in and test again.
No joy then revert to another stable driver i.e. 347.88

If all no luck then post back here and we can have a look again.
Hope this helps a bit.

Congratulations doctor Stanley with this important milestone in your career.
Also all the best for the future and thank you for helping out this important part of biology.

Goodby Nate, you will be missed at this project.

Is this the only gpu in the machine? Wndows has a very bad habit of disabling resources that it thinks aren't being used during startup, a gpu with no monitor attached is a good example of that. A simple "dummy plug" can fix that.
http://www.overclock.net/t/384733/the-30-second-dummy-plug A second option is to plug in a 2nd monitor during the startup process and then unplug it once windows is up and running.

Monitor attachment or dummy plug is not needed. I have several rigs with monitors only connected to the first (main) GPU, and the other GPU works just fine without.
This is under windows.

If you bought this card new then I would go to the shop and swap for a new one as it is still under warranty. Or they check and repair it if possible and if not give you a new one.

I have many hardware from ASUS including GPU's and everything did work immediately after I installed it. I think that ASUS can be considered as a very good brand. And that is also true for Dell, I run several Dell's without issues.

However my favorite brand is EVGA, and nowadays I only buy GPU, MOBO and PSU from EVGA, for replacements or new builds.

But your ASUS GTX750 should work, go back to the shop.

It also looks like that WU's are generated at times as one rig is still working with GPUGRID. But looking at the Stats page, the graphs show a declining tendency.
