I'm definitely in, though I don't think I'll ever "win" anything. It's a very nice idea, though! Why I crunch for GPUGRID? Simple. My mom died from cancer in 2013 after a 2.5 year long battle and many chemo therapies that didn't help much, so I'd like to help out the guys behind GPUGRID who have a clue on how to tackle cancer and other diseases. Another reason is that GPUGRID is one of the few medical projects where you get the feeling of that the money you pay for electricity is well spent as you know there are real "professionals in the field" behind this project so you don't waste electricity for nothing. I also crunch for Rosetta and POEM for the same reasons. Even though I have low income and can only offer a single GTX750Ti for 8 hours a day, I still think that over time, it makes a small difference |

This is good news indeed. I disagree :) My GTX560 is crunching fine on short WUs Not everyone has the bucks to upgrade to something new whenever a new architecture is released, so don't make such remarks |
