550TI VS 450GTS

I have changed my 450GTS to 550TI but unfortunately in takes more time to finish the same type of task in comparison to 450GTS. 550ti has 25% faster shader domain and 50% wider memory bandwidth. How can it be like that? |

I have solved the problem. It was in the sheduer. there was pointed 6 days + 6 days in cash, I changed it to 3 + 1 day and It had started to receive tasks) |

I have upgradet Boinc to the latest version. It did helped me but for 1 WU ONLY. im only running a 64% load

There should be a reasonable balance between the GPU load and workability of the system. At present moment of time the load of 40-60% is not enough for maximization of PPD. But if the GPU utilization would be 99.99% as Primegrid does it would not be possible to use the computer at all because of freezes, lags and huge noise of the GPU fan. I think the optimal utilization of the GPU should be between 80-90% |

Hi everyone. I have instaleed the latest version of MSI Afterburner and mentioned that my cards 250GTS and 275GTX are not totally utilized. They are maximumly used by 60-85%. IS it normal or not. 250GTS are mostly 80-85% bussy, but right now the 275GTX only by 60%!!!! Ihave the latest drivers installed and almost clean Win7 64bit. |

Well, if the performance of 5850(70) would be equal to the performance of nVidia top devices, this optimization will be successful, otherwise no one would use their top ATI cards with PPD of 2 years old nVidia. But honestly I hope ATI would outperform nVidia in this very important project. Good Luck Fellows. |
