Does the current application checkpoint? If so, how frequently?

Any issues if I reboot the PS3 when a result has not yet completed crunching?

It checkpoints every 10 minutes more or less. No problem to shutdown and restart.

I\'ve had no problems, I during testing have interrupted many tasks, some of them multiple times, no ill effects.

The only test I did not try yet was actually pulling the plug out of the unit, to simulate a power failure (since my is on my UPS). I was planning on trying this, but I need to catch a task when its not very far along, just in case it trashes it. I don\'t mind wasting say an hour of work, but I would hate to kill 21 hours.

Note to GDF:
Your applications have been the best of any project yet to test, with the least number of problems. You do a good job at this. :)
