Try these drivers from Nvidia.

Make a note of which type of GPUGrid task was running at the time, and if it's hERG, *_pYEEI_*, *_TRYP_*, or any of the types listed (or discussed) in the sticky 'information and issues' threads at the top of this message board, post about it there.

Many of these crashes are data/parameter related: crashes happen with particular, recognisable classes of task, even when the BOINC/driver combination is working flawlessly on other tasks.

I installed the drivers that HTH suggested. but it stil gives the error.
I installed 3 versions of boinc until now.. they all make the same error.

@Richard Haselgrove
how do i see witch type of task it is?
anyway.. almost every time the task fails.

here is the screenshot of boinc in the last error: http://i40.tinypic.com/2vmswer.png

i will keep watching this thread because i have a powerful video card and i want to make boinc use it.

the frequencies are at the default level on the video card and i even set the cooler at 90% power to see if this was the problem but it still crashed.

It's there in your screenshot, top row under 'Name':

f134s10-TONI_GA9F-0-1-RND2001_0

I would call that a 'TONI_GA9F' task - it lines up best with GA: information and issues.

But going by the sorry list in all tasks for host 69496, you'll have to get your computer stabilised first - most of the task names in that list are for types which are normally pretty safe and reliable.

It would also help readers if you could 'optimise' your references by making them clickable. The one above is

GPU FAQ: Why my run fails? Some answers - which is a good place to start.

Refer to 'Use BBCode tags to format your text' on the messsage composition page to see the tools available. It opens in a new window, so you can refer to it while you type.

The problem here is that you, like me, have a GTX 260-192 which due to a persistent bug in all drivers since the 185 series is no longer able to run GPUGRID without problems.

For further details see the thread about it Is the problem with GTX260 solved

Kind ergards

A, If you actually run a task you might get somewhere.

Install the latest driver, restart, install the latest version of Boinc, restart, attach to GPUgrid and try to run a task.
If a few fail and there are no successes you know your card is no good here.

I just recently had this happen on my GTX-260 (216 55nm) Win7 64-bit rig, but it turned out to be just because I had started a graphics-intensive program (FarCry2) and had forgotten to stop BOINC first. Apparently when the GPU gets overloaded to that extent (trying to run both FC2 and the GPUGRID task) the entire graphics driver crashes and the task gets a computation error status. It was obviously a stupid mistake on my part. Restarting the machine and aborting the task fixed it.

The computer in question is here:
http://www.gpugrid.net/show_host_detail.php?hostid=43920
the task in question is here:
http://www.gpugrid.net/result.php?resultid=2336710
I won't do that again.
