I've noticed a strange behavior with GPUGRID in BOINC. I usually have two GPUGRID tasks running (and nothing else). On occasion I might temporarily suspend one task to control temperature or to help the remaining task finish faster. In the past when I clicked "Suspend" on the desired task it would actually stop: the counters would stop and the GPU power/temperature would drop accordingly.

Now when I suspend one task the status changes to "Task suspended by user" as usual, not nothing stops. The Progress percentage and clock timers keep ticking, and the GPU power and temperature remain unchanged.

The only way to stop one task is to click Suspend on the task then Suspend and Resume the entire project. When it resumes only the non-suspended tasks runs, which was the goal. Never had to do that before...

???

The 9.18 application has some serious problems with suspending. I hope the admins see this and fix the problems!

It will suspend after ~30-120 seconds at most. (Though it's abnormal to take that long.)
