I'm seeing this happening in three WUs to me and all wingmen.

Defectous units?

Yes - I've had two of them, too.

I have had only one, but no problem on a GTX 970 on Ubuntu 16.10. I don't overclock this card, though it has a moderate factory OC, and runs at 1366 MHz.

Yours is from a different batch: GERARD_CXCL12CHALCDIMZ_chalcone579
The defective batch is GERARD_CXCL12CHALCDIMZ_chalcone344, it has 91.27% failure rate.
Maybe the algorithm watching the stability of the simulation is too sensitive on this batch.

Just got the GERARD_CXCL12CHALCDIMZ_chalcone 344 WU.
I'll be able to give an input if it still fails.
I do believe it was fixed..? as 2-3 weeks passed since last post.

It's been fixed, the error rate is now ~10.49%.
