Hello,

I am looking for a cc_config to use with one AMD 5870 and a nVidia GTX770.
But I cannot find it in the fora, perhaps I didn't look right, so can someone help me with this please?

Both cards can do Einstein and Milkyway, but I want only the AMD for that (does it faster) and the 770 dedicated to GPUGRID.
Thanks.

Hi TJ. No cc_config setting needed. Just go into your project preferences for Einstein and set it to run only ATI WUs. As below:

Use CPU - Enforced by version 6.10+ no
Use ATI GPU - Enforced by version 6.10+ yes
Use NVIDIA GPU - Enforced by version 6.10+ no
Use INTEL GPU - Enforced by version 7.0.27+ no

You can also set Einstein to run more than 1 WU at a time by adjusting:

GPU utilization factor of BRP apps to 0.5 for instance (for 2 at a time).

Also similarly set your Milkyway project preferences to ATI only.

Thanks Beyond,

That is really easy. Will start with it.

In case you wanted to play with the settings, to get something that is more like a "host-specific" configuration, I recommend looking at the following:

http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/client_configuration

http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/forum_thread.php?id=10717&nowrap=true#130679

Good luck!

I have it working Beyond, just like you said.
Now see it the Alienware can handle this, as the 770 runs hotter then the AMD.
And the Alienware is not a good case, with a lot of noise. Not a good choice from Dell to my opinion.

@Jakob, that could be handy indeed, for more rigs to set.
