Dears, we are playing with a customized skin of the BOINC client. It attaches to GPUGRID by default (but allows you to add other projects manually).

Feel free to try the (unsigned) apk at www.gpugrid.net/download/apk/edu.berkeley.boinc.AndroidBOINCActivity.apk.

Let us know.

Just playing?, as attaching gpugrid to my android nexus 7 tablet with boinc for android client, it merely downloaded some images and that was it. Can't be gpu based, as when hitting update the event log tells there's no need (buffer full). I have no gpu projects running on this device. The profile has enabled both cpu and gpu for boinc, plus to sent other work if the opted is not available.

It should be able to download and crunch CPU work from GPUGRID after you enter login and password.

Ok, thanks for that. Will see when previous buffered work completes what will come. The nexus 7 is of course an arm snapdragon cpu, not anything x86.

According to this:
http://www.gpugrid.net/apps.php

... ARM might be supported :)

It may be of interest that wcg is also running vina on android, fightaidsathome, and having major issues. Many tasks go out very near the start. You may want to compare notes with the programmers there.

I think it's a batch of WUs created with wrong inputs. The application seems to be starting well though.

Ok, thanks. Set to pull more of your work, but the client is told there's none sent (available?).

Right.
See here: http://www.gpugrid.net/server_status.php
Especially look at Tasks by Application -> Unsent

You can sign up for other projects to keep your devices busy while GPUGrid is temporarily out of work.

Correct. You can either add other projects in the GPUGRID app (manually entering their URL), or vice-versa add GPUGRID in the official app (ignore the incorrect indication that GPUGRID does not support android). For now there is no other difference (icons apart).
