As you can see here i got very low credit for this WU!

But i don't understand if there is a problem with the WU and got credit even or there is problem with credit calculation.

I'm looking into it, thanks. [edit] Puzzling, at least. The results are there and similar WUs are just fine. Were there any oddities during the computation?

I don't think they were any oddities!
Or i don't see them!
My PS3 is up and i let crunch the Wus without any intervention.

Here is another WU that has some strange credit : http://www.ps3grid.net/workunit.php?wuid=656974
135,063.30 seconds but only 119,10 credits !

I updated to YDL 6.2 a couple of days ago, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. It has crunched a couple of WU's afterwards without problems.

I also noticed that my internet connection had failed during upload of file, but that has also happened before without resulting in this 'error'.

So somewhat puzzling what is going on ?!

the known difference here from most WUs, I crunched, is this one was interrupted. nothing else changed on this machine. essentially the same runtime and claimed credit as many before it; however, ~25% drop in credit granted. not complaining about it, but it is unexplained which beg investigation.

I had another WU do the same thing, one of the first--it was also interrupted, several times--researching, but somewhere in those restarts appeared, via time crunched, to start from a previous point losing many hours crunched and I rec'd no credit for it.

it appears one of two possibilities:
1. the "credit granted" algorithm sometimes burps with WUs that might not respond well to bullets, interruption (stop/start). i.e., something happens to the WU.
2. there is nothing wrong; some WUs, though look similar, are not. if the case, is that explained on this site.

I have had no success getting answers on this forum, so I pose this for historical reasons only.
