Your personal background.
I'm a PhD candidate at the Department of Computer Science in Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly UMR). My research focuses on automated DNA analysis, but my interests lie in graphics processors, automated video surveillance, and alternatives to silicon-based computing like Quantum Computing or DNA computing.

Your opinions about GPUGRID
I convinced my advisor to join NVIDIA's Professor Partnership Program and they donated 8 Tesla C1060 GPUs to our department. The department bought the remaining hardware and I admin the resulting GPU cluster which runs BOINC projects like GPUGRID when not in use.
