Win 7 64bit/ XP sp3, GTX 670, NV driver 301.42, Boinc Mgr. 7.0.25/27/28

GPUgrid keeps to send WUs of ACEMD beta version 6.46(cuda42 OK), and (cuda40 compu. error) to the said computers.

EDIT -- It seems on my computers that Fermi cards work OK with cuda40 and cuda42, but Kelper cards work OK only with cuda42.

Only cuda42 application are received for GTX470+GTX670 and GTX670+GTX580 computers and OK

Win 7 64bit /Win XP 32bit NV driver 301.42 driver (and Nvidia Inspector 1965) can detect both Kelper and Fermi cards on the same MB.

But, Boinc Mgr. v7.0.25 and v7.0.27 can only detect the Kelper cards in these cases.

GPUgrid is still sending ACEMD beta version 6.45 (cuda4.0) application to my GTX670 and computation errors with the said driver.

>Just select to do Beta work Only; no other tasks, and try again.

Just remind also to check "Run test application?" to yes.

9) Message boards : Graphics cards (GPUs) : Can XP detect 3 vga cards? (Message 12494)
Posted 5310 days ago by comfortw
Hi
Can XP detect 3 vga cards ?

I have 2x280, 1x285 and 1x8600gt cards. I failed to setup three cards running under windows xp pro sp3 on my motherboard M3N-HT deluxe mempipe which bios version is 1701.

The BIOS showed only one display card (which may be normal) but windows could never detect more than two cards. The power supply should be OK cos all 3 VGA cards were with green led lit. My computer took 420watt when it was folding with 2x280 cards.

All combination of the cards and pci-e slots have been tried, but no luck. All cards were checked healthy.

I read the database of computer ID and found some members here got 3 cards running under XP (all are same model?)

I want to put three GPU cards (2x280 + 1x285) on one MB to minimize base loads and save electric bill.

Please help.
