Posted 5391 days ago by KAMCOBILL Ht TomaszPawel, Thanks, been running all the GPU projects since they came out with WUs. This is the only projects having trouble making deadline. The reason I was wonder if the deadline could be changed was if I run for 5 days and it is resent back out then it could take up to 10 days to return the result for that WU. Seven is less than 10. I'm trying 1 more WU before I detach. Thanks Again Bill |

Posted 5392 days ago by KAMCOBILL Hi, I have tried several WUs and the same happens on deadline. Here's last WU http://www.gpugrid.net/result.php?resultid=945503 Since this card is listed color netural, I've been testing it. It seems to be able to run the WUs, but not in time. Is there a problem making the deadline longer (e.g. 7 days instead of 5)? I haven't had any problems with the duration on 9600GT. Just the 8500GT. Thanks Bill |

Posted 5653 days ago by KAMCOBILL Thanks. I found it and got it installed. It's still terring up Explorer.exe though and doesn't look like it'll make the deadline. I'll try to find a way to tune it somehow. :D Thanks for all the help. |

Posted 5654 days ago by KAMCOBILL I disabled the indexing and everythig that I could. It's still tearing up explorer. I jsut suspended all other WUs. Now, WU is 50% and Explorer.exe is 50%. Hopefully, It'll make the deadline. :D Thanks a lot. I'll have to check out a better GeForce. |

Posted 5654 days ago by KAMCOBILL I'm have problems with WUs while running. I'm running on WinXP Pro 2 core host. While WU is running alone, it takes up 50% and Explorer.exe takes up 50%. When runnng with a WU from another project, It take 25% and Other WUs 25% and Explorer 50%. When WU was received it had 11 hours to complete, but it is running slow and looks like it'll take over 100 hours. How can I stop Explorer.exe from hogging up all the processing? I downloaded 178_08 for WinXP. That's the driver it gave me to download. Thanks Bill Edited. It is happening with 6.3.14 and 6.3.17 both |
