Posted 406 days ago by Carlesa25 I think Maxwell based cards. GTX 900 series and newer. Hello: Thanks, I have a GTX 1080 ti in sight, so this would work. |

Posted 406 days ago by Carlesa25 If you look at your failed tasks result outputs, the explanation is self-evident. Hello: What would be the minimum type of NVIDIA card to be able to execute this project, thanks. |

ASUS ROG MARS 760 DUAL GPU
(Message 41013)
Posted 3280 days ago by Carlesa25 I was considering this card but was able to get enough money to buy a 980. Hello: For long tasks better the GTX 980 or GTX 780Ti. The MARS 760 is good for short tasks in GPUGRID and SETI or other project as EINSTEIN etc ... is perfect, the best price-performance. With fans at 75% (noise a little high but exaggerated) the temperature is maintained at 73 ° C over and 75 other GPU, (ambient to 21 ° C) is normal for a warm more, is the one on the inside, but much also depends on the case and ventilation, in my case is very well ventilated. I hope this information is helpful. |

ASUS ROG MARS 760 DUAL GPU
(Message 40997)
Posted 3281 days ago by Carlesa25 Hello: I have correctly installed the ASUS MARS II 760 and the performance was pleasantly surprised. In several projects it exceeds 10% improvement on a GTX 660Ti GPUGRID of time and the set tasks short performance equivalent to that achieved with a GTX 980 or GTX 780Ti but for less than half the price ... well. Temperature control and OC Linux works perfectly and thanks to having two independent fans is pretty cool and acceptable noise, no more than other GPUs. above. In summary very happy moment and a very good price benefits. Greetings. |

Posted 3292 days ago by Carlesa25 Hi, anyone have experience using the ASUS ROG MARS 760 DUAL GPU ...? Until now had a breakdown GTX 770 but I'm using a GTX 660Ti and the truth is that it works well, reasonable and very fresh Watts few times. I guess the performance will be like a 760 single but with the advantage of running two tasks. For some time now I have been working with a GTX 590 and have experience in using dual cards, their advantages and disadvantages. Thanks and regards. |

Hello: Thank you, if you already know and understand. I think it would be good for the project, as in others, the tasks were for AMD OpenCL GPU and NVIDIA since both support it. Greetings. |

Posted 3416 days ago by Carlesa25 Hi, I was surprised that once the new driber Beta installed Nvidia 346.22 for Linux, I see that supports CUDA 7. I guess what is good news for technicians of this project that we recently premiered tasks for CUDA 6.5. Greetings. |
