I finally made it into the top 25 too. :)
Alas as happens every year, along comes summer and I have to shut down and I fall like a stone. Cheers and crunch on.

Just wantedd to say I do like the new long wu's. I have completed 16 with no problems at all. Most run in 15 hours on GTX260's. I have no runtime yet for GTX460's. Great job folks! Keep up the good work.
Cheers!

I see. You are not going to find many projects for that card. You might try Einstein (binary pulsars) as they are short and have small files. No med projects though. Here they are moving toward even larger files for high-end cards. Cheers.

Is there any plans to release smaller WUs? I tried to run the standard WU and after 11 mins the WU was only barely got any work done. Based on percent the done, the WU would take 4 days to finish. I don't mind leaving the machine one 24/7, but WUs shouldn't take more then 1 day.

If not, can someone recommend another medical project that uses GPU? I didn't see any on the boinc page.

Folding@Home is the only other med project I know of. What GPU are you running?
Cheers.

Same here. No dn/up loads. Have 13 uploads stuck in the pipe. It will take a bit to get these sorted. :)

Basically only 2/3 of the shaders are usable on GTX460s, the GTS450 and other cards with the same architecture, with the current ACEMD based apps. I have no idea if this can ever be fixed, but I suspect it will not be available until a new ACEMD release, if at all. The top end cards (GTX580, 570, 480, 470 and 465) do not suffer from this architecture problem. It only impacts on GPUGrid, not other projects, because only GPUGrid uses the ACEMD program, required for molecular dynamics research.

I think there was too much hope for these cards, including the GTX560 (same architectural flaws). The only benefit over a GTX260-216 is that it uses less electric.

I received 2 GTX460-SE as a Xmas present. I'm disapporinted in their performance but they were free :) They do run cooler and use less electrons than the other GTX2xx's.
Cheers.

Have we run out of *long* wu's? I was getting one about 1 in 4 but now they have stopped or has something else changed? I like them :)

I just cruised by to say I'm lovin' the new wu's. ~21 hours on GTX260 but only ~55% utilization of the card. ??? Nice credits too :)

Good job.

Well... I can now confirm that on GTX260 WUs still can't be processed.

Not true. I have 7 GTX260's running and I have not had an error since 6.71 came out.

This is my config if it is any help to anyone:

Win7 64-bit, BOINC 6.10.6, nVidia 190.62, CUDA 2.3; Q6600 (standard clock), GTX260 (standard clock), 8 gig memory.

I am using the same config on XP SP3 (Pentium D) 32-bit and Vista 64-bit (Q6600)

Hope this helps. Cheers!
