Hi.
Just to report, that the new Nvidia drivers 180.84 fix memory leakages upon CUDA app exit on WinXP 64bit. Have tested it by exiting BOINC while running a GPU wu and saw GPU memory being released (using RivaTuner).

I am trying it also, after seven failed WUs in a row, I upgraded to 180.84 this afternoon. Got two WUs, so far so good, about a quarter way through the first now. Running XP64 with a single 260, failed WUs had Incorrect function. (0x1) - exit code 1 (0x1)

I run new Seti Cuda also on Win. XP64. It would not run more than 3 WUs on anything other than 180.84, it fixed " out of memory" errors. So far GPU grid is running trouble free with 180.84 on Win XP64.

UPDATE: Working like a champ :) finished one and started in on another without a hitch. Even have a few SWETIs running in the mix!

Thanks Vid Vidmar!

Great, great news :). I`ll ckeck it soon. But r u sure about 180.84? I can see 180.48 as latest driver at nvidia.com. Or maybe you`ve written about some beta driver available at specific web adress?

Well I didn't post any links, because I couldn't find these drivers on Nvidia site, however googling for "cuda 180.84" should give you plenty of results.

Thx guys. Ofc I`ve found this driver, but it wasn`t available at Nvidia website just at specific websites as e.g. Guru3d. Well I thought it`s some beta driver or mby driver after some modification done by Guru3D or someone else... And that was I`ve asked for ;). Mby I wasn`t exact enough with my qeustion :).

I`m sorry. I should write `for all Windows OS`s`.

But about Linux... Well, Linux is unfixable... ;)

You should write: 'for all faulty OS's' :D :D :D

... and Linux need no fix ... :)
