I was really surprised to see SETI shutting down for the time being. Hard to believe !!!! I used to support it and then my computer started to lock up on any and all things to do with SETI computing. So I gave up for a while. But to get the message that they were shutting down for now and maybe the foreseeable future was a real shock. Are we getting too good ? We have been through some real dry spells here on GPUGRID and as those that did SETI are now free to choose other boards we will probably see a large influx of new people over here. I've noticed lately that we are seeing about 80 to 100 a day joining us on GPU . That's a lot more then used to come over - used to be around 20 - 30 at most. As a group we have almost replaced some super computers with the number of Gigaflops that we produce. Oh well, what ever it brings, good luck to all and may none of us catch the Coronavirus. Take care.
