I've had this problem for a little while and I have tried various fixes to no avail, Eg. Underclocking gpu core and Vram, resetting cpu to stock, and reinstalling BOINC. I have a 780 Ti which is currently running at 1098MHz 1.212v with the power limit at 116%, temps peak at 68c.

Basically what happens is that the ethernet cuts out and windows becomes unresponsive forcing me to restart. It only seems to happen with these WU's the NOELIA short and long tasks run without errors. The one common error from all the Stderr outputs is: SWAN : FATAL Unable to load module .mshake_kernel.cu.

Thanks in advance,

1.212v and a power limit of 116% might be unstable for your specific setup when running the GERARD FX tasks.

The Ethernet cutting out suggests something completely different.

You might want to try an older driver such as 347.88.

Alright, I'll try out an older driver first. Then if that doesn't work I'll try tweaking the gpu's settings.

Hmm, I guess I just wasn't underclocking it enough. I knocked it down to 1020MHz and it seems to be working okay for the 3.25hrs it has been running (longest one as of yet).

I think you mean you have reduced the clock. But the default base clock on the 780 Ti is 876 MHz (boost is 928 MHz), so you are still overclocked.

I guess that's true but mine has a 1085MHz base clock with no boost.

Well, that task I was running failed at the 10hr mark with this error: 194 (0xc2) EXIT_ABORTED_BY_CLIENT.
