We finished one of the storage filesystems and so new work units cannot run until this is fixed.

Of course it had to happen today. I am trying to fixing things up but it might take many hours because I am copying a lot of data out.

I managed to free 150 GB while I am copying out 7 TB.
Hopefully it should get some workunits out in the meanwhile.
The 7TB copy will take 48 hours starting 12 hours ago.

We are waiting for some government funding to get 120 TB workspace + 120 TB of backup. They are quite slow! Hopefully by June.

I hope everything is back up by the next 15 or so hours.... that's all the GPU buffer I have.

Oh well, I guess I'll resort to the backup projects. Thx for letting us know of the downtime.

there are workunits running, just not enough for 2 wu per gpu.

I have freed another 1.7 TB which should be enough for few days.

I have been getting work most of the time, but not always. Just set another project as backup, depending on what type of card you have, and wait.

By backup we mean setting the resource share to 0. In the project preferences. In this case a back up project will only fetch work when the client can not get work from projects with a resource share greater than 0.

If this keeps up, we might have to resort to Folding....

Any idea on when the WUs will flow again?

I think the WUs are flowing, because there's always 2000~2300 long workunits in progress and these are predominantly Gerard's two-step workunits, therefore I think he successively fills the queue with his two-step batches. If it wouldn't be the case, these two-step workunits were finished earlier. Probably this practice is more proper for some reason regarding the current simulations.

It also looks like that WU's are generated at times as one rig is still working with GPUGRID. But looking at the Stats page, the graphs show a declining tendency.

Hi. I have a Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi with Android 5.1 and I'd like to know if there is a version of GPUGrid compatible with Android Lollipop.

But looking at the Stats page, the graphs show a declining tendency.

There are two reasons for this:
1. The short queue is empty
2. Those who crunch from the long queue instead of the short loose their fast return bonus
3. There are more crunchers than workunits.

So far we had these workunits from Gerard:

For Alessio Susi: This project is for powerful GPU's. A nexus 7 might be able to run CPU based tasks, just download BOINC for Android and try the Rosetta project or World Community Grid. Folding@Home and POEM@Home might be nice too.
