I crunch GPU Grid on a System that I got basically for the price of shipping, besides needing to pick up a Hard Drive, some Cords, and the GPU to complete the system. On my system, it being a recycled Dell, I am limited by what GPU I can run with the roughly 300W power supply.

The best card I could get for the price that didn't far exceed the power supply capabilities is the GT 440 OEM, which has extra unlocked CUDA cores, and extra Memory on the card.

Wondering if anyone else is running such a budget card? I am happy with how well it has been preforming on the GPU grid tasks.

Presumably it's seeing 192 shaders rather than 144, akin to the GTS450. I see it can finish some of the long tasks inside a day.

I would prefer the low-power GT640 or GTX650 for such hosts, but a much more powerful GTX650Ti should still fit (unless it's an older heavily overclocked Core 2 Quad), since it will use significantly less than 100 W running GPU-Grid.
