I've noticed a couple of irregularities with the Nvidia drivers on Windows 7 x64:

- Upon exiting BOINC while some GPUGrid work units (Paula's but not Ignasi's?) are being processed, I've received an error message indicating that my video driver has crashed and restarted. This seems like a pretty harmless error, as I do not believe it causes those work units to fail, but it is annoying.

- Also annoying is the fact that when I boot up my machine, about half the time, the Windows Aero effect is disabled and I am unable to start it until I reboot my computer and it magically returns. Again, minor issue and it doesn't impact my BOINC work at all, but it's annoying. I'm even noticing these issues after installing a fresh copy of Windows 7 and the Nvidia drivers.

I'm running a single GeForce GTX 560SE, which is a fairly recent model, on an AMD-FX machine. I've noticed these two issues with both the official, recent, "stable" Nvidia driver as well as the beta driver (304.79) released on July 3rd. Overclocking doesn't seem to make a difference.

Well, at least no more failed work units when the screen goes to sleep, right?
