Works also fine under ArchLinux..But we still need GTX 680 support ;)

This driver breaks gpugrid for me in arch/debian on a GTX 670. Everything just instantly fails with computation errors. I had the same card working with a 295.59 driver on debian, but due to lack of proper clock rate/fan control, my GPU was sitting at around 80-82°C.

HOW TO - Install Coolbits on Ubuntu 11.10 to control fan speed

If that doesn't get you there, try working it out from, Manual Fan Control Guide

If you have to do this another way, let me know (PM) so I can add it to the FAQ.

Interesting, I had the 'Option "Coolbits" "5"' line in there before but it didn't work until I cleaned up the device section and changed the order of things around a little bit. It worked after I put it right under the driver line. That still doesn't help with the computation errors though. I had it working in in debian sid for a while but not arch. But the other day the nvidia drivers in the sid non-free repo were finally upgraded and lo and behold, it started spewing out the same errors as in arch. Of the people that are using this driver successfully, are any of you using a gtx 670 or 680?
