A completed WU has been in uploading status for 2 days now. A WU completed after that uploaded with no problem. This occurred on a windows 7 box, with a GTX480 nvidia GPU. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Try to edit the hosts file due to possible DNS cache problem

62.149.128.154 gpugrid.net
Then restart Boinc core.

Do not use the "Tab" key, only the "space" long key.
The last low must be empty.

After succeful upload is better to commnent that line.

The WU does not appear when I select the trnsfers tab. It only appears under the tasks tab.

I have a similar problem. My computer successfully completed a task, and was able to upload all files except one. That file reads upload pending. I press reentry now and nothing happens. The computer is running windows 7, with boinc version 7.0.25. I don't understand the edit host file explanation. Can I fix this or do I lose credit on this file?

In the end, I had to abort the task. There was nothing I could do, even though it completed successfully.

I don't understand the edit host file explanation.
Here and there. I have sold a lot of upload problems by that way.

If it had uploaded (there were no files showing on the Transfers tab) then all you had to do was report it. You do that by going to the Projects tab and then select GPUgrid and then press the Update button. Any work that has been uploaded will be reported and if it wanted more work it would ask.

The process of uploading work is separate to reporting it. That is why on the Tasks tab it will show as Uploading or Ready to report. There is no need to abort work.

I have CPDN work that has been trying to upload for over a week (a couple of their servers crashed), but I just leave it alone and it handles it. It will retry any uploads as needed. Reporting will usually happen on the next request for work or within 24 hours if none, or you can tell it to update.

If you use Boinc 7.25 or similar, the GPUGrid report file will immediately report itself without doing anything - due to new server code. Doesn't work with 6.x. Effects only GPUGrid tasks.
