There are a couple of Light projects that don’t register as using a CPU core with Boinc.
These run well on Fermi systems that have a CPU core freed up to expedite GPU crunching, and go some way to offset your CPU crunching losses. In terms of overall Boinc Credits the GPU gain is usually much higher than the CPU loss, but some CPU projects reward very highly.

FreeHAL@Home
WUProp@Home
Surveill@Home

You need to configure FreeHAL to only run these light tasks, but all the WUProp tasks are light. All are light when it comes to system resources and bandwidth.

If you know of any other light projects post them here please.

The ANANSI project used to qualify, but it's no longer active.
