i always get 6.05 (cuda)
but never 6.05 (cuda30) or 6.11 (cuda31)

i have win vista x64, GTX260-216 driver 259.09, boinc 6.11.6. i also set swan_sync=0

Due to a bug in CUDA3.1, only fermi cards receive the new application.

No, but there is no added benefit for your card in running CUDA 3.0.
There is a big speed up for Fermi cards using 3.1, in so much as it allows GTX460 cards to actually work :)
