I have 2 WUs In Progress but the server says I have 23 In Progress for host 56900. Apparently I was having internet connection issues which may have contibuted to creating this situation. The two WUs I do have In Progress are:
I10r149-TONI_HERGunb1-2-100-RND6891_0
I10r28-TONI_HERGunb1-2-100-RND5244_0
If the server does send the other 21 to me as BOINC requests more, it will take me about three days to process. If you do not think that will happen then maybe you can change their status directly on the server so you do not have to wait for them to to time out and get sent to someone else for processing.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

I could not connect to the server yesterday evening for a short period of time. Might be related?

Well it looks like they will timeout as the server is sending new WUs just like all the extras did not exist.

BTW I'm puzzled on how this multiple-in-progress-WU condition arises. One the one hand, the server should not allow more than two WUs at a time, but there seems to be a bug lurking somewhere. On the other, some people might be happy to occasionally receive more WUs than the limit (eg for the week-end).

Perhaps another Bad Boinc Beta did the damage?

I think the Boinc team will have to write different versions of Boinc for different drivers, as Boinc reads the driver info. There is little point trying to put code for multiple drivers in the same package, it just causes too many errors.

Might be nice except that the WUs were never actually downloaded to my machine and on the next connection to ask for more work it just simply gave me more and ignored all the ones it thought it had already sent to me.

Something odd going on, I think the server has lost track of what is going on with them as some had been sent to me as the second (other people were slow in returning) but since then the original machines finished but I still do not have a server abort status on my tasks page here at GPUGrid.

That is not the case with all of them, the others have started to be sent to other users so hopefully this all just clears itself up and the project get the WUs completed by someone.

Well it would clear itself up after the wu time out. If you didn't want to wait that long you can finish off any work, report it and then detach and re-attach. Given the deadlines on here are so short it only takes a week before they time out, so probably not worth the hassle.
