I installed Yellow Dog Linux on the PS3 and encountered no problems, but after reboot there is no vertical synchronization. I see three copies of what is displayed. I\'m using an old tv set. Are there other options than ydl480i that I can enter when booting?
(The view is stable during the first part of the boot process. It becomes unstable after entering ydl480i. Entering nothing yields a blank screen.)

When you get the kboot: prompt, press tab, it will scroll through available video modes. You only have 10 or 15 seconds while at the kboot prompt before it continues on in the default. I do not know all the modes available.
